Price performance is simply unbeatable. Super nice service, great location.

We have been here several times and have never been disappointed! The food is delicious and always fresh; you can hear the schnitzel being knocked in the back of the kitchen! The host and the waitress are also extremely friendly and always ready for a joke. Corona rules are also observed. What more do you want? We recommend!

Very tasty, the food was served quickly. An interesting old building, not recognizable from the outside.

The food was really very good. There was something lacking in the service, there was a lack of coordination. Covid topic: Tables were already quite narrow, sometimes the staff did not wear mouth and nose (!!) protection completely, we did not have to fill out a registration slip.

Very good German and regional food, we had stuffed chops, a limburg specialty. The roof terrace was cozy and well-kept. The boss was in a good mood and we liked it, as did the waiter.

Very tasty food, ox cheeks were very juicy and tender. The staff is courteous and the ambience, especially on the outside terrace, is great!

Main course good. Different starters. Mushrooms completely without garlic. Service nice but completely unskilled. The whole shop makes a tourism impression. It looks dirty and on the highly praised terrace also very untidy and uninviting. Too bad. There is a lot of potential here.

The food is good. But the service needs to get better. And the guests just don't take Corona. Many simply go to the restaurant without a mask. It's actually not that difficult. This should also be pointed out by the owners.

A friend and I were there last night for a dream concert by the rehab pianist. The food - schnitzel and pork medallions - tasted incredibly good, the service was very attentive. In short, an all-round wonderful evening. Lovely again.

Very nice old house. Unfortunately a bit dirty (carpet full of stains, for example). Service very friendly and quick. The food (schnitzel with fried potatoes) was very disappointing.

We felt very comfortable, great service. Attractive map on which everyone can find something. Food was excellent (had pork chop and leaf salad) We would love to come back.

Great atmosphere no question, the service was not that great. Long (15.minutes) nobody came to take the order at all. After that it went better. Food was okay. There were actually sent away guests who arrived at 15:01 clock and wanted to eat (statement: kitchen closes at 15:00 clock). Häää? Apparently you do not really need sales here.

Nice terrace, a few meters off from the busiest part of town and therefore seems a little more quiet. Food looked good. But we had to leave to catch our guided tour. After asking a couple times our order was cancelled 45 min after it was placed as it would have taken another 20 min until finished. (We ordered 2 salads and goats cheese with zucchini.) So if you have time, seems ok.

Nice ambience and very friendly host. The food was okay but Qualitatively not the end of the flagpole. In addition, our food was unfortunately still tepid lukewarm what vll it was because the plates were not preheated. But by and large recommended.

We had a wonderful evening in the restaurant. From appetizer to dessert everything was totally delicious, as was the wine. The atmosphere is unique, you do not expect it. We were allowed to look at the vaulted cellar. 100% recommendation 👍😊

We had lunch in this restaurant during our trip in Limburg. My parents visited me from Italy so we really wanted to have something typical German! This place is located in the oldest house in Limburg, so the atmosphere is really nice. We ordered Schnitzel with potatoes and it was well made, you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. We had lunch here on a Monday, so it wasn't busy and the owner took the time to delight us with a lot of stories about the history of the house and the town. It was so appreciated and you could hear him being proud of this place! He even offered us a homemade liquor made out of hazelnuts, which smelled and tasted awesome! I really am happy to have found this gem and would totally recommend it if you're in Limburg!

The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The food was also very good, unfortunately we waited a long time, but the service was very friendly and always on hand.

Just delicious, home-style German cuisine, I had kotlet with savoy cabbage and fried potatoes, very good. We were five people, everyone was very happy. The conditions were very friendly and the place was very well attended. Highly Recommended.
